There was indeed a line at the Bethesda Row Apple Store on Launch Day for the iPhone 8, which hit the streets more than a month before the ridiculously-expensive but coveted iPhone X. Also on display Friday was the next Apple Watch. Strangely, the iPhones were not connected to the internet, preventing a thorough test.
