There are signs that Ourisman Volkswagen is coming to Arlington Road - literally. Coming Soon signage was posted at the future dealership yesterday, which will have a luxury apartment building (called 7001 Arlington at Bethesda) above its showroom, a very rare setup in Montgomery County.

Surprised the REAL old VOB that sells cars up at the pike and Old Gtwn Rd. is allowing it's name to be taken....
I can't remember the names of the guys who owned that operation, a couple of German guys who started a mechanic shop in the early 60's...but one of the branched off the VOB operation and opened a Mercedes dealership not so far from Shady Grove on the Pike north of R'ville....

The cars are already stored on cool elevator things on that road off River Road where all the auto places are (behind McDonalds). Check it out.
"NYC"? Looks more like Formstone to me, i.e., Baltimore.
Are they going to keep their storage on River Road?
