The new Gallery Bethesda luxury apartment tower is now open, so I can't say "construction update" anymore. But here is the latest set of photos from the new building, and the plaza and public art displays in front of it at 4800 Auburn Avenue.

BAINBRIDGE BETHESDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)

Here are photos of the progress at the next luxury apartment building expected to be delivered in downtown Bethesda, the Bainbridge Bethesda. The 17-story tower is located between St. Elmo and Fairmont Avenues in the Woodmont Triangle. These are the last photos in which you will see the tower crane, as it was disassembled after these were taken.

7700 NORFOLK AVENUE LUXURY APARTMENTS CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)

Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle will be home to JBG's 7700 Norfolk Avenue luxury apartment tower. Here is the latest progress at the construction site, which is directly across from the Bainbridge Bethesda apartment tower nearing completion. Both towers will be 17 stories in height.

ARIA CONVENIENCE STORE TO OPEN AT GALLERY BETHESDA APARTMENTS (PHOTO)

The first official retail leasing on the ground floor of the new Gallery Bethesda luxury apartment tower will be Aria Convenience Store. Donohoe's 17-story building will officially win the post-Great Recession construction race when it opens next Thursday, January 16. Featuring a rooftop pool deck and club room loaded with amenities, the Gallery Bethesda is the first in a wave of new luxury buildings that will be delivered starting this year. The building has already been pre-leasing since the fall, and will be the first smoke-free building in downtown Bethesda.

Lots more is lighting up at Donohoe's Gallery Bethesda construction site - including the address. The "4800" street address sign is lit now, announcing the luxury apartment tower's 4800 Auburn Avenue location. And street lamps are being installed in front of the building. The project is on track to be the first of several new luxury residential buildings to open in downtown Bethesda, and is also the tallest among them.
