A sign installation crew was on-site at the SunTrust/BB&T bank branch at 7220 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda last night. The existing awning had been removed from the bank entrance. In the back of their truck was what appeared to be an awning with Truist logos, and a ladder was placed at the entrance. Truist is the new branding for the bank formed by the merger of SunTrust and BB&T last year.

Truist? What a G_d-Awful name. Someone actually got paid to come up with that crap branding and some corporate committee said "sounds great". Incredible.
