PEET'S COFFEE INSTALLS SIGNS IN DOWNTOWN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)

Peet's Coffee & Tea installed its permanent signs on Wednesday, replacing the former Caribou Coffee name on the building facade. Construction continues inside the coffee shop, which is one of two Peet's locations opening soon in Bethesda. The other will be at Westfield Montgomery Mall.

THE DEMISE OF CARIBOU COFFEE IN BETHESDA CAUGHT ON FILM! (PHOTOS)

The final moments of Caribou Coffee in downtown Bethesda have been captured on film for posterity. Workers were removing the last vestiges of the brand from the building yesterday. The space will sell caffeine again when it reopens as Peet's Coffee and Tea this spring.

CARIBOU COFFEE TO CLOSE IN BETHESDA ON MARCH 16 (PHOTOS)

Caribou Coffee will pour its final cup at 4:00 PM this coming Sunday, March 16, in downtown Bethesda. The downtown Bethesda store says that diehard Caribou fans can continue to enjoy their coffee at Caribou's Silver Spring and Rock Creek Village stores.

This Caribou will reopen in the spring as Peet's Coffee and Tea.

JOB FAIR FOR NEW PEET'S COFFEE IN BETHESDA, DC

While many caffeine fiends are anxious to try Peet's Coffee when it replaces Caribou Coffee in downtown Bethesda this spring, what if you want to work at Peet's Coffee?

Peet's is hosting a Job Fair this Thursday, March 6, 1:00-5:00 PM, at the Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel, at 1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW. Positions include barista/retail associate, Shift Lead, and assistant store manager. 

Peet's Coffee was started by Alfred Peet in Berkeley, California, in 1966.
