Dunkin' Donuts offers Tailgater breakfast sandwich for football season in Bethesda (Photos)

Dunkin' Donuts is greeting football season with a limited-time Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich. Available all day, the Tailgater features a split smoked sausage, egg, reduced fat cheddar cheese, fire-roasted peppers, grilled onion mix, and Ancho-Chipotle sauce on an oven-toasted French roll.

The sandwich sells for $4.29, and went on sale yesterday for the first time.

There are 3 Dunkin' Donuts locations in downtown Bethesda (and a fourth, if you work at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center): 4943 Elm Street, 7500 Old Georgetown Road (in the Clark Building near the Metro station bus bays), and 4905 Cordell Avenue.

It's time to make the donuts! Today is the grand opening of the new Dunkin' Donuts in the Clark Building at Bethesda Metro Center, where the doors opened at 5:00 AM this morning. 

Finding the donuts shouldn't be a problem with the many helpful signs spread around the vicinity. Next up: another Dunkin' Donuts in the Norfolk-Cordell II building, scheduled to open later this month. That one will also house a Baskin Robbins, returning to Bethesda after many years. And hopefully bringing Baseball Nut as a flavor in time for Spring Training. Peanut Butter and Chocolate was my favorite of the regular 31 flavors.

It's official! The new Dunkin' Donuts in the Clark Building at the Bethesda Metro Center will open its doors tomorrow (Monday, February 3, 2014) at 5:00 AM. Hot coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches... Commuting on Metro may be slightly better than usual as a result. Maybe?

The window coverings have been removed at the future Dunkin' Donuts in the Clark Building at the Bethesda Metro Center. If you click on the photos to enlarge, you will see the menu screens above the counters are activated, and there's even a sign advising customers to "Please Wait Here." Our countdown to opening continues...

DUNKIN' DONUTS BETHESDA METRO CENTER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)

They're still hard at work inside the new Dunkin' Donuts store in the Clark Building at Bethesda Metro Center. Can they finish by the end of the week? We'll find out soon, but progress is being made. A lot of the counter equipment is in place, as you can see if you click the photos to enlarge for detail. The finishes, floor and ceiling appear to be just about done.

The exterior sign is now lit at the future Dunkin' Donuts in the Clark Building at Bethesda Metro Center. While the local Dunkin' Donuts franchise company hopes to open by the end of this week, there is still work to be done on the interior.

Construction continues to progress rapidly inside the new Dunkin' Donuts within the Clark Building. Meanwhile, this nifty new hanging sign has been suspended outside the store, located at the Bethesda Metro Center. If you missed my last update, we're about two weeks from the grand opening.

DUNKIN' DONUTS INSTALLS SIGNS AT FUTURE BETHESDA METRO CENTER LOCATION (PHOTOS)

Signage is now up at the future Bethesda Metro Center location of Dunkin' Donuts, which is expected to open the week of January 26. Located in the Clark Building, it is one of two Dunkin' Donuts stores opening downtown this winter.
