Pizza Tempo becomes Cheesy Pizzi in Bethesda

The owner of Pizza Tempo at 8021 Wisconsin Avenue has sold the restaurant, and is planning a new venture in the District. Meanwhile, the new owner of the Bethesda pizzeria has changed the name to Cheesy Pizzi, and made some slight changes to the menu.

Your favorite item is still very likely to be on the new menu, as a result. The tuna pizza and sandwich appear to have been axed, however. At the same time, there are about twice as many desserts now.

Two Bethesda restaurants on Wisconsin Avenue had their front windows shot out over the weekend.  Pizza Tempo and Shangri-La each had a large front window pane boarded up Monday.

I've heard nothing official from police in regards to the crimes, as of press time.   It's unclear what the shooter's motive might have been, as the locations and cuisines of the two restaurants are quite far apart.
