Lululemon soft-opening today at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda

Lululemon has set the opening date for its new space inside Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Its current space has now closed to facilitate the move to their new storefront, which is in the mall center court on Level 1, between Psycho Bunny and Sleep Number. The new store - which was still walled off as of last evening - will hold a soft opening today, September 4, 2025. A grand opening will be held this Saturday, September 6.

Lululemon is reopening at 4838 Bethesda Avenue at Bethesda Row. The activewear boutique has been temporarily closed for major renovations. Stop by to see the new interior design. There are only a few tickets left for a special yoga event on Sunday, June 1, 2025, followed by refreshments and exclusive shopping access. Hurry!

Lululemon at 4838 Bethesda Avenue at Bethesda Row has been closed for renovations since March 19. Here's a sneak peek at the progress inside. Other than the front counter and drawers behind it, and some shelving at the rear, little has been installed on the sales floor yet. An inspiration wall is visible behind the counter at the front. No reopening date has been announced, but Lululemon's Montgomery Mall store is open.

lululemon has moved up the street to 4848 Bethesda Avenue. Their original location has closed until a new tenant moves in. The new spot has been home to many a short-lived failure in recent years, with Kit + Ace being the last. Read Wall was there for a very short time as a pop-up shop, and has relocated to the old Make Meaning space across the street.

Sign installed at new Bethesda Row lululemon location

The sign is up at the future home of lululemon at Bethesda Row. Most recently home to Read Wall, the high-turnover space hopes for better stability with the popular yoga pants headquarters moving in. The current lululemon location remains open for business until the move, but the new sign at 4838 Bethesda Avenue was lit last night.

We knew lululemon athletica was coming to Westfield Montgomery Mall, but now we know where. The high-end yoga apparel boutique will be located next to the Tesla store, on the lower level. lululemon already has a downtown Bethesda location, at Bethesda Row. The Westfield Montgomery Mall store will open this fall, when True Religion will also open on the lower level.

LULULEMON COMING TO WESTFIELD MONTGOMERY MALL

lululemon athletica is the latest Bethesda Row business to expand to Westfield Montgomery Mall. I've confirmed the upscale yoga wear retailer is opening a store at the mall this year. Where? I would most likely bet on the vacant space where GameStop used to be, on the upper level near the food court. Another spot could be by the Tesla Store on the lower level, but I would expect a lululemon to be fairly sizable in square footage.

Other Bethesda Row businesses to get a sister location at Montgomery Mall recently? Lilly Pulitzer (The Pink Palm), Kraze Burgers (now closed in downtown Bethesda), and Francesca's Collections.
