Auto parts theft spree in Bethesda
One or more thieves seeking auto parts broke into multiple vehicles in the Bethesda neighborhoods of Alta Vista, Ashburton, and Wyngate over the night between September 16 and September 17, 2025. Parts were stolen from vehicles parked in the 9400 block of Singleton Drive, the 9800 block of Singleton Court, the 9500 block of Bulls Run Parkway, the 9500 block of Milstead Drive, and the 9500 block of Wadsworth Drive. Montgomery County police have not made a public statement about this theft spree yet. However, these thieves are typically seeking airbags and catalytic converters.

Hey, just trying to feed their family.
Hope they hit all the members of the council and McCarthy who's soft of crime policies have brought us to where we are.
It sounds like the GPS theft spree a decade ago. The police caught up with the culprits and confiscated fifty units. I was one of the victims and inquired about my device but the police wanted to know if it was password protected. It was not and the police allegedly kept the unit while I was given the run around. . .
Fat chance! He is running again for office most likely unopposed.
The standing MO is ninety nine excuses to avoid doing the right thing.
@6:01, they call it “evidence” when the police steal your stuff.
@10:05 AM, Indeed it is! A MoCo popo arrested me when I was 17 years old with "possession of a deadly weapon", a mere 110 model buck knife on my person in front of where Rock Bottom Brewery was. These current thugs do more in their sleep hourly than I ever did to get arrested in 1979. I hired a lawyer named Shelly Schuman which set be back 3 grand and after court the scumbag cop didn't return my knife. It took a full year before I finally got it back and the point of the blade was snapped off cleanly resembling a flat head screwdriver because the "evidence" was actually taken home by the cop and he used it for opening his gallon paint cans.
The airbags and CATS are available on Facebook. This App supports a large criminal network of stolen goods.
@10:05 AM Exactly! That's euphemism for keeping all FIFTY units indefinitely!
