The Starbucks inside the Hyatt Regency Bethesda hotel at 1 Bethesda Metro Center will permanently close "by the end of this week," according to a sign posted at the store. That sign is identical to one posted at the Aspen Hill Starbucks that is also closing this weekend. Both closures are part of the company's move to close hundreds of stores nationwide by next week. This Starbucks opened in the Hyatt in June 2018.

Your list is incomplete. The Rockville/Derwood location at 8010 Gramercy Boulevard is also closing.

This was the best Starbucks in Bethesda and convenient to Metro. Other coffee shops close at 5 or 6. Bethesda feels like a boring retirement community now.
Adios, I've boycotted them since 9-11 when a Manhattan SB made firemen doff their gear to get their wallets out to buy cases of water for victims and other first responders. Sure they apologized but way after the fact and out of duress and fear of bad PR.
With the recent closure of the store inside the Safeway, 4. That's just one more than the 3 Dunkin' stores in downtown Bethesda. And who knows what the future of the Target is. And the Starbucks in Harris-Teeter creates a nuisance for people buying their groceries there.
EastMoCo reported the Aspen Hill closure but Takoma/Langley and Muddy Branch haven't been reported either.
