Montgomery County police responded to a report of a burglary at a home in the Sumner community of Bethesda this past Tuesday night, October 21, 2025. The burglary was reported at a house in the 5900 block of Carlton Lane at 10:10 PM Tuesday. Officers responding to the scene found evidence of forced entry at the home. It is not yet known if residents were home at the time of the burglary, which would make it a home invasion.
