BUYER'S EDGE REAL ESTATE OFFICE TAKES OVER JUST CAKES SPACE IN BETHESDA

Buyer's Edge, a real estate company, has moved into the former Just Cakes space at 4849 Rugby Avenue. Just Cakes closed March 17 of this year.  The original Buyer's Edge office in Bethesda was on Hampden Lane. Buyer's Edge only represents buyers in real estate transactions, and operates in the  DC area, as well as from a new office in Baltimore.

With plans to redevelop the "Just Cakes Building," and adjoining properties, people may be wondering what will end up going there.

In this case, we have something to go on - the plans for this site that were tabled when the condo market crashed a few years ago.

The Rugby Condominium was slated to be built on this Rugby Avenue site. A 9-story building with a rooftop picnic area and fitness center, the Rugby was also to house 1850' of artist studio space.

After 10 years of baking, Just Cakes on Rugby Avenue closed its doors forever Sunday.

However, you will still be able to order from the Just Cakes website.
