Kit and Ace prepping for opening at Bethesda Row (Photos)

Kate Spade and Williams-Sonoma just opened at Bethesda Row, and now another high-end retailer is preparing to do the same. Inventory is being stocked at the new Kit and Ace leisurewear boutique at 4838 Bethesda Avenue.

The window screens were removed yesterday, revealing the interior buildout by noted local firm Teel Construction. Kit and Ace specializes in Technical Cashmere apparel.

It looks like they're very, very close to opening. Wouldn't be surprised if they opened today, in fact...

Kit and Ace to begin construction in coming weeks at Bethesda Row (Photos)

Build out of the new Kit and Ace, a leisurewear boutique specializing in Technical Cashmere, is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks at Bethesda Row. Teel Construction is the construction firm.

That's positive news, as Teel was the firm that built Vino Volo and Paper Source at Bethesda Row, Circa in Clarendon, and the Angelika Pop Up cinema at Union Market, among many other projects in the region.

Kit and Ace will be located at 4838 Bethesda Avenue, and is expected to open this fall.

VINO VOLO SELECTS TEEL CONSTRUCTION TO BUILD NEW BETHESDA ROW LOCATION

Vino Volo, an upscale wine bar opening at Bethesda Row this summer, has hired Teel Construction to develop its space.

Teel Construction has done many retail, restaurant and office spaces around the DC area.  My personal favorite is Circa in Clarendon.  If they were to use Circa as a starting point, Vino Volo could be a spectacular design at Bethesda Row.

Vino Volo is also in the process of obtaining its liquor license from the county.  Which is kind of important when you have a wine bar!

The new Bethesda Row location is the first Vino Volo not located in an airport.
