11:40AM is caught in the old media world....if your work doesn't appear in a print newspaper or print magazine, you're not a "journalist"
This is the same mindset that the Council has in trying to limit Uber and boost Barwood.
Both are holding on to legacy systems that aren't working.
What's more pathetic? Robert Dyer's clownish Youtube career or the fact he comments under fake names on his own blog?

2:16: What's more pathetic is an anonymous coward posting negative comments on a news blog all day. Unlike you, I actually use my real name when I post. An anonymous clown criticizing anonymous comments - talk about the pot calling the kettle black! What have you ever done or accomplished in your life? Just being paid to post anonymous comments on a blog that tells the side of story your benefactors wish the public wouldn't hear?
It's hilarious how you think people care about your website, but at the same time, that the only way someone would comment on it was if they were paid to.

5:13: It's not when someone has a legitimate disagreement with something I've said. What draws suspicion are comments defending the indefensible, things like the county's economic development record, the worst office market in 20 years, the illegal sidewalk closures in downtown Bethesda, old-school taxi service, etc. No one in the general public is passionately favorable towards any of those, so someone defending them clearly has some interest in doing so. You guys are the ones with the thin skin, who feel the need to stamp out any dissenting message against the relentless positive propaganda machine of Montgomery County. By the way, are Styrofoam coffee cups still legal as of this hour in the county? Just checking. True legislative heavyweights.
5:14: Your guys are the babies. I showed up at the debate Monday night in Olney. Your guys didn't have the guts to show up, because they knew they would lose. They had to stay home for warm milk and cookies while I spoke about the real and serious challenges ahead, and credible solutions. And of course, we now know Hans Riemer was at a wine and cheese reception at a Potomac mansion while the Olney debate was going on. Oops.
Robert needs to find some sort of happy medium for his selfies - somewhere between the extremes pf "dude about town in a tux" when he's scarfing free food at an opening and and the, um, less well-groomed style seen in his food* review videos.
*The word "food" is being used very loosely here.
We love the site, Robert, keep it up! We love to see the updates on bethesda. it makes us more aware of what's up around here. I think the review of the loaded baked potato, ninja-turtle pringles is a little over the top…but the rest of it actually cool.
