BETHESDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: FLATS AT 8300/HARRIS TEETER GROCERY STORE (PHOTOS)

The construction of Bethesda's first Harris Teeter, and the larger 8300 Wisconsin Avenue mixed-use project which it is the anchor of, continues at the corner of Wisconsin and Battery Lane. Developed by StonebridgeCarras, the building is being constructed by Donohoe Construction. Above the grocery store will be the Flats at 8300 luxury apartments.

Can't wait! Too bad there is no other retail other than Harris Teeter. With such a huge building and this northern tip of Bethesda under served it would have been a great opportunity for a small destination for local residents.

Harris Teeter opening is great news for Woodmont Triangle residents. Hopefully, it will be a 24 hour location.

Bob reported a few months back that we'll have a new Trader Joes as well, a few blocks away.

Was any explanation given why the developer isn't providing more retail or office space? Thanks!
