Chevy Chase construction update: Chevy Chase Pavilion (Photos)

The latest overhaul at Chevy Chase Pavilion in Friendship Heights is at the Western Avenue/Military Road entrance to the retail center. Patrons are being directed to the Wisconsin Avenue entrance, as the this one is closed during the construction work.

Renderings of what the new entrance will look like are posted outside.

The upscale mall completed a major, $32 million renovation in 2013, and added several new tenants - most notably Range/Lunchbox, Civil Cigar Lounge, and H&M.

Do the DC Police know about Dyer's entry into their city?

I remember when Friendship Heights used to be a strip of gas stations, fast-food restaurants and liquor stores.

Soon, Westbard will also be transformed from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!

9:33am Friendship Heights was never an ugly duckling. It's had great retail and residential for decades.

7:53PM That's what I thought too. The "Woodie's" and Lord & Taylor have been there as long as I can remember. I think they precede fast food. :)

Grammar check; "Patrons are being directed to the Wisconsin Avenue entrance, as the this one is closed during the construction work."
