"Film is back!" in Bethesda (Photos)

Nostalgic for the golden age of photography? Miss stuffing little cartridges into envelopes and dropping them into a slot at the drugstore? Tired of learning how your photos turned out in seconds rather than days? Ritz Camera has the answer for you.

"Film is back!" declares the sign at the camera shop at 6917 Arlington Road, next to CVS Pharmacy. So if you have any old undeveloped film around, or just want to relive the golden days of cameras, here's one place you can go in Bethesda.

Remember how expensive it used to be to buy and develop film only to have half of your pictures turn out useless?

Film sucks. You can't make porn unless you have your own darkroom at home.

Is Robert Dyer Jesus? I believe he has come to save MoCo from the #MACHINE ... #DYERistheONEtrueGod

Betsy, I sure do. Every beach shot looks the same. There won't be much finding old photos in a box in the attic, though.

I am commenting on the crime board
I grew up in Bethesda and my parents still live there
The crime has gotten very bad and especially alarming are the home invasions being reported as burgulary
In my parents block where the entire time growing up was not 1 burgulary
There have been 3 home invasions and 2 burgularies
The police say it's gangs coming from Prince George's
My question is whenever I am home I look to see if any police patrols go by
Never!
Why is this? I live in Louisville key and New York part of the year
Police regularly patrol in both areas
The Montgomery county don't seem to drive by in residential neighborhoods
Can you do a story on this or starting neighborhood watch
I think if the elderly knew how many burgularies they would get security systems or call police

Dyer reaches such as large audience in MoCo that you'll always have a few nuts commenting.

@ 1:30 PM - you could at least learn how to spell that word correctly.
