Learn to make Peter Chang's dumplings from Peter Chang himself this Saturday in Bethesda

This Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, learn to make legendary Chinese master chef Peter Chang's dumplings...from Peter Chang himself, at his flagship Q by Peter Chang restaurant, located at 4500 East-West Highway in downtown Bethesda. Joined by his wife, chef Lisa Chang, Peter Chang will demonstrate his dough-making and wrapping techniques for 15 minutes.

Then, those who pay $40 ($10 for children 12 and under) will assemble their own dumplings, from a variety of fillings of their choice. The dumplings will then be cooked by the Q staff, and served at a seated lunch that concludes the program, which is titled, "Pinched."

“This is an exciting and engaging way for myself, my wife Chef Lisa Chang, and the team at Q by Peter Chang to interact more with our wonderful customers and community and to help educate them as much as possible on the beauty of authentic Chinese cuisine,” Peter Chang said Wednesday. “Following ‘Pinched,’ we have plans to offer many more unique and interactive classes and events in the coming months to our devoted friends and fans, especially those that have yet to experience Q by Peter Chang. As our flagship restaurant, we hope to use this space as a way to truly unite Chinese food lovers and educate them on the diversity of our versatile cuisine."

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (240) 800-3722 or emailing info@qbypeterchang.com.

How is that place doing? I've always wanted to try it, but never thikn to stop by as it's sort of out of the way compared to other places.

Overpriced with small portions. Go elsewhere.
