A lot of "Coming Soon" signage has now gone up in the windows at Wildwood Shopping Center. Screens touting Bethesda Bagels, Salon Nader & Spa and Flower Child can be seen in these photos. Also good to see some new handicapped parking spaces right up against the new addition for Flower Child. Such spaces get further and further away from business those with disabilities are trying to reach at some of the newer developments in Montgomery County.

Is this a lame attempt to divert attention from the disastrous changes to the parking lot there lately?

5:58: The many businesses open in the center when these pictures were taken would laugh, and then take great offense, at your idea that I and their other customers are forbidden to enter the property after the sun goes down.
Think about what you are typing before you hit the button next time. Sometimes cheap shots indeed ricochet back and hit the perpetrator, as in this case. Embarrassing!

The parking layout already was a mess in this place. The addition of more stores will just make it worse.

9:00 AM Oakville Grill/GEpetto's have been trying to sell for a long time. No surprise there.
No movie theatre such as Regal is in this center. The County should demand one go in. These places are destined to fail without one.
1:05 PM A strip mall without a theater isn't unusual.
A downtown without a multi-plex is.

Last I looked Bethesda has a multiplex right in the heart of all the action - Landmark.
Seems like people going to Landmark would have more discretionary income to spend on local restaurants and shops after seeing "non-blockbusters" there. Fewer tickets for kids, and less popcorn and candy.
Landmark doesn't show the mainstream blockbusters - we've established that fact long ago.
Why do "blockbusters" matter at all, in terms of whether cinema patrons will patronize local restaurants and shops? Wouldn't someone coming for an "arthouse" film be more likely to splurge at places like Jaleo?
Let's put it this way- if you're taking your family to a movie this weekend, there's no family fare at Landmark Bethesda. You'll have to go elsewhere to see Lego Movie 2.
Bethesda is pretty family oriented.
