Matchbox sign installed at Bethesda Row

The permanent sign is up at Matchbox at Bethesda Row, but it was not yet lit on Friday night. I must admit this corner of Woodmont Avenue and Elm Street has lost something without the flaming cauldrons of former tenant American Tap Room, which were not only extremely effective for advertising purposes, but also gave some energy to the intersection as well.

The flaming cauldrons are still there, and visible in your photos. Not sure they will be utilized by MatchBox in this day and age, as they are not the most sustainable marketing idea. Now a clever idea would be to create two large “matchsticks” extending out at an angle from the flames as branding.

Wonder if Dyer will be complaining on youtube that they don't have a drive thru for one of his late night food reviews?

Narcissistic psychopathy, a.k.a malignant narcissism, is a character defect that manifests, mainly, in a severely impaired or absent conscience and an insatiable drive for power, adulation and revenge.

Trump or Dyer?

Neither. This refers to the malignant fools who devote their lives to attacking Dyer.

Can't wait until the crowds come and people knock each other out to get parking. I'll be at the pike location and park in front with a short wait for a table
