Oregon Avenue N.W. to be reconstructed between Western Ave. & Military Road

The D.C. Department of Transportation is preparing for a reconstruction project along Oregon Avenue N.W., between Western Avenue and Military Road N.W. In addition to improvements in the roadway, new curbs and gutters will be constructed, new streetlights and signage installed, a new sidewalk will be added along the west side of the road, new drainage structures will be built, and a new bridge will be built spanning Pinehurst Run.

DDOT expects the project to begin at the end of this year. It is scheduled for completion by late 2021. Traffic advisories will be issued as needed.
