Ourisman Jeep Bethesda (Photos)

The Jeep inventory is expanding at the new Ourisman Jeep Bethesda dealership at 6700 Wisconsin Avenue. This was previously a CVS Pharmacy. The dealership relocated here earlier this week.

Wow, I normally like white minimalist interiors, but this place is so bland and cheap looking. Not a single large scale “trail tested’ photo mural, or “it’s a Jeep thing...” sign. Just cheap white tile floors, cheap lay in white ceilings, and boring linear LED lights. No warmth or character, or any effort at all to create positive brand, an outdoor or environmental design character. Yes the colorful Jeeps stand out, but these aren’t sexy Audi’s, BMW’s or Mercedes that might look good in a museum.

Are any illuminated exterior signs proposed, or just cheap die cut letters on the door?

Who granted them permission to use public sidewalk space for outdoor vehicle sales display at the corner? I see that the Acura dealer does this as well. I guess it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

A renaissance of auto dealerships in downtown Bethesda!

This is getting ridiculous. The mega-large Mercedes-Benz dealership is bad enough. But VW, Volvo, Audi and now Jeep?! That Honda dealership looks super out-of-place as well (although I get it was there first).

At least the Rolls-Royce/Bentley dealership made sense, since Bethesda is one of the the wealthiest communities in America and the low volume meant they didn't need a lot space.

Are people in Bethesda really that lazy that they can't make the 10 minute treck up 355 to Rockville to buy and service their cars?

Wow this really is bad. Hopefully they aren’t done and add some design to the store. But this is really really bad.
