Auto parts stolen from multiple vehicles in Battery Lane theft spree

One or more auto parts thieves went to town on Battery Lane over the night between Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, 2020. Parts were stolen from vehicles parked in lots outside of residential buildings in the 4800-5000 blocks of Battery. At least 13 vehicles were victimized, according to crime data. If you park outdoors on one of those blocks, you may want to check your vehicle.

I peaked out my window at 4:00am Saturday morning and saw an old white color beat up piece of shit VAN with blue lettering on the side parked in the dark in the driveway at 4970 Battery Lane... 2 car windows were smashed and broken into at the building next door. MoCo Popo need to BOLO for that van and not screw it up like Moose did with the sniper situation. I'm not a witness because I didn't actually hear anything but the location & timing of that vehicle was too coincidental. I don't like dealing with police but feel free to pass that information in to the authorities as you see fit. #RightUnderOurNoses
