Gameworks coming to Bethesda

Gameworks
is coming to Bethesda in 2021. The entertainment center and gaming chain has leased space on Level 1 at Westfield Montgomery Mall, Westfield announced yesterday.

While similar to Dave & Buster's, Gameworks distinguishes itself with its emphasis on eSports. Their venues feature an eSports lounge with games running on top-of-the-line PCs and consoles. Gameworks also serves food and drinks like D&B, in The Works Kitchen. This will be their eighth location, and the second on the east coast.

They'd better spray disinfectant all over the place and wipe the keyboards/peripherals.

Food, drinks and computers don't go well together either. Get ready for sticky keys.

I can safely say that I'll never go to a place like this. Ever.

People can game safely at home. What disastrous timing for opening this business.

This place will get absolutely crushed at the mall. No way, no how.

Do you know which space in the mall?

"Do you know which space in the mall?"

Between Macy's and the former Sears.
