A new traffic signal is being installed on MacArthur Boulevard at the entry/exit for the Clara Barton Parkway in Glen Echo. The intersection has been governed by stop signs up to this point. This is just east of the Irish Inn and Glen Echo Park.

This was a number of years in the making (going back at least to 2015) with the input of the Joint ICC-B Traffic Committee (comprised of the leaders of a number of community associations, the ICC-B, County DOT, Berliner's office, & Van Hollen's office) and the result of the Intelligence Campus on Sangamore (where a large influx of the traffic in the morning and afternoon originates during shift changes). It was studied, delayed, restudied, planned and funded, delayed, and finally implemented. Hope it works!
