We've previously seen some furniture and fencing outside the future BabyCat Brewery at 4850 Rugby Avenue in the Gallery Bethesda II apartments. Now that, and some additional tables and seating, are being set up for use. BabyCat Brewery hopes to open this new Bethesda Taproom before the end of the month.

Looks like it will be a great addition to Bethesda !
6:01 - I agree. But will the great line, "If you build it, they will come" hold true here? Bethesda seems very often dead after 9pm. Where do all the hundreds of people, who live in these luxury buildings, on every corner, go? I've seen many coming and going from their building and they're mostly younger professionals.
Good news
I can't claim to know what all the younger professionals are doing...but the three I know that live in Bethesda spend most of their time in DC...down around U Street, Logan Circle, Union Market. They appreciate the options that are right out their door for say watching football games (Caddies still seems the go to place) and a quick meal. They live in Bethesda because they either work in Bethesda or Rockville (or even Tysons) and want to lessen their commutes.
