Osteria Divina is "coming soon" to Chevy Chase Lake, according to signage posted at the development. It will be located in the ground floor of The Claude at 3820 Chaplin Place. Led by the team behind Osteria177 and Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen in Annapolis, Osteria Divina "will combine traditional regional Italian dishes with the modern style of an Osteria," development partner Bozzuto said in a press release. "The restaurant will feature fresh artisanal pasta, seafood, prime meats, and fresh daily local produce, along with a curated wine list and expertly crafted cocktails."

Rome is a city. Ergo no such thing as a “Roman Town Square.” Moreover, because they speak Italian in Rome, the locale you describe is known as a piazza
I hope it happens sometime soon - those signs have been up a while. Just guessing but I would bet it wont happen until the end of 2026. Its a great development just the parking is an absolute mess - the garage was designed by children I swear and with the Amazon pickups it's hard to even drive through the streets in it without going around 3-4 cars and ubers etc.
