The auto theft spike continues in Bethesda. Thieves stole a vehicle in the Georgetown Village neighborhood early yesterday morning, September 13, 2021. The vehicle was reported stolen in the 9700 block of Montauk Avenue at 4:39 AM, according to crime data.

Two other assaults occurred in the Pike District of North Bethesda on Easter, as well. A robbery and several assaults were reported in downtown Bethesda the day before.
