The holiest day of the year for many was another unusually-violent day in Bethesda. An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 8600 block of Old Georgetown Road early Easter Sunday. Two other assaults occurred in the Pike District of North Bethesda on Easter, as well. A robbery and several assaults were reported in downtown Bethesda the day before.
