HUNGRY-MAN CHICKEN AND WAFFLES REVIEW (VIDEO)

One of the biggest breakthroughs in TV dinners has arrived on the shelves of the frozen aisle at Giant in Bethesda: Hungry-Man Boneless Fried Chicken and Waffles.

Yes, it has real waffles, not some kind of deconstructed substitute. And the waffles have real maple syrup already applied, no separate syrup cup to remove, heat in a cup of microwaved water or any of that usual rigmarole when it comes to special sauces, gravies and toppings for frozen dinners. I don't mean they just have a baked-in flavor. They are actually sitting in maple syrup in the tray, with the fried chicken patties on top of them.

Homestyle mashed potatoes and a cranberry-apple dessert round out the meal, which is surprisingly low in fat given the type of food we're talking about here - fried chicken is fried, after all.

STOUFFER'S TURKEY TETRAZZINI REVIEW (VIDEO)

Today I have a special review for the Blizzard of 2015. New York City and Boston are snowed in, and what better time to review a dish that was originally invented at the Knickerbocker Hotel on 42nd Street? Turkey Tetrazzini is part of the Classics line from a classic name in dining and frozen food from the great city of Cleveland, Ohio - Stouffer's. Does the Stouffer's recipe do justice to this over-100-year-old dish? Watch my review to find out, and learn a bit of history about the creation of this dish along the way. There may not be 3 feet of snow in Bethesda, but it's still a perfect day for a hot meal like this.

BANQUET CHICKEN FINGERS MEAL REVIEW (VIDEO)

Here's a TV dinner with no pretenses of being a health food choice. No vegetables are to be found. Just three things many Americans enjoy eating: fried chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and a brownie.

You can find this meal for about $1 in the grocery store. How does it taste? Watch my review to find out.

HUNGRY-MAN CHIPOTLE BBQ BONELESS CHICKEN WYNGZ REVIEW (VIDEO)

Snowed in? Enjoy a special video review of Hungry-Man's new, Limited-Edition Chipotle BBQ Boneless Chicken Wyngz dinner. This TV dinner includes boneless, white meat chicken "wings" in a chipotle BBQ sauce, ranch mashed potatoes, corn and an apple crumble dessert. That means you get a complete meal. Sodium is quite high, but the fat total is surprisingly low for a fried chicken product.
