As I posted on Twitter a short time ago, Montgomery County Police have confirmed an assault occurred on the Capital Crescent Trail tonight just after 7:00 PM.
The only details they have confirmed so far: 2nd District officers responded to an assault report on the trail at 7:13 PM. The victim is an adult female.
