HISTORIC BETHESDA POST OFFICE INTERIOR DEMOLITION AND ASBESTOS REMOVAL CAN BEGIN (PHOTOS)

The historic Bethesda U.S. Post Office at 7400 Wisconsin Avenue (at Montgomery Lane) is currently for lease from Donohoe Real Estate Services. But before a tenant can move in, asbestos must be removed from the building. Access Demolition Contracting of Baltimore has been hired to conduct that remediation. ADC expects to complete the project by November 25.

Donohoe has also received approval from the county Department of Permitting Services to demolish the first floor and basement interiors of the structure.

I moved with my company to a location that had asbestos in it. We ended up having to take everything to its bare bones for remodeling. It's surprising how common asbestos is in these buildings. http://www.nationalconcretecutting.com/demo
