Prima installs "Coming Soon" signage at Bethesda Row

The first outward signs of Italian fast casual restaurant Prima appeared yesterday at Bethesda Row. "Coming Soon" window screens were installed at the former Taylor Gourmet space at the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Elm Street. Prima is the latest concept from Boston-based celebrity chef Michael Schlow.

Top Chef contestant on the same block as another and fallen Top Chef contestant. Can't make that up. This could be good though. They gotta get the big sandwiches right. This sort of idea was tried at Pike and Rose but failed and for good reason, it was awful. This is exactly like Gusto isn't it?

Don't they know that the movie theaters at Union Station closed a decade ago, dooming the entire area to moribundity? Clueless greedy developers.

Why is the NE DC restaurant comment section blocked?

If you turn off comments for most of your stories, people are going to stop visiting your blog. You realize that right?

I assume the Seinfeld picture is referring to a story about the Purple line being a subway. Not really hard to figure out. I thought it was funny. But I liked Seinfeld. I understand that having a sense of humor is a minority position here.

Articles are on Facebook and open to comments there. Probably your best bet.
