Bethesda construction update: Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza (Photos)

If there were any doubting Thomases, Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza is finally in the construction phase at 7700 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda. After an initial demolition of the previous Community interior, the site went dormant for a while. Now things are going full steam, although still in the early phase, and they have applied for their liquor license from Montgomery County. Place your bets on whether co-owner Dan Marino will appear for the grand opening.

Oh Dan, can I have your autograph? I loved watching you when you were with the Florida Marlins. Ha, ha!

1:24 PM Creating the first all digital news platform covering the county is a big deal. You're accessing it daily :)

Robert has made many contributions to the community. I encourage you to check out his site!

Now, what are you doing to add value, mr. anonymous?

2:43 PM Local news publisher, activist, life long resident.

Informing and delighting residents daily with news from around the county. Most popular restaurant reviewer in the county.

#1 all digital news property covering the county and growing, according to Alexa analytics.

Pretty good resume.

Haters gonna hate.

2:43pm you're an insignificant nobody commenting on Dyer's local news site.

Dyer has accomplished lot. Meanwhile, you haven't contributed anything to the community.

Dyer's "About Us" has all the info on what he's up to. Support local journalism. He has more traffic than any other local blog, according to Alexa.

You want to continue to lie about Dyer, so be it. But all the information is there. People rely on his sites in the news deserts of MoCo. Dyer is regularly sourced for breaking news.

If you want to rant and rave about failing sites, there are plenty of folks blogging locally making nothing. Apparently wandering the food court after school doesn't pay well.

9:39am is clearly an insignificant nobody with a Robert Dyer obsession

9:46am Dyer is regularly sourced for breaking news, my friend.

He's covering the news deserts of the county.

He has far more traffic than other MoCo local blogs and is trending up, they are trending down and begging for donations and clicks.

More people than ever are turning to Robert Dyer for local news. Get on board and support his journalism.

So Dyer uses his own money when others don't. That makes Dyer the Tom Steyer of Bethesda blogs.

And your point is?

10:05am Dyer has a wonderful "about us". We know more about him than other local journalist or blogger.

BTW, you can now cross the street safely at Wisconsin Ave & Chase St. in case you were wondering.
