The McDonald's restaurant at 5214 River Road in Bethesda will be closed all day Monday, August 21, 2023. Parking lot repairs are again the reason given for the closure. The restaurant closed for a day earlier this month for the same purpose, but there was inclement weather part of that day. McDonald's will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, August 22. Mayor McCheese is directing customers to McDonald's locations at 4130 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Westfield Montgomery Mall, and 11564 Rockville Pike during Monday's closure.
