The structural form of a new McDonald's restaurant is shaping up at 11710 Rockville Pike in White Flint. Cinderblocks remain visible, however. A banner just posted at the construction site promises the new McDonald's is "coming soon." When this McDonald's opens, the existing one at 11564 Rockville Pike will close. 2025 is sure to bring a new McDonald's, as well as the return of McDonald's Snack Wraps, and new-and-improved chicken tenders under the McCrispy branding.

Anyone placing bets on what will take up residence in their current Marinelli Road digs?
If only, once McDonalds vacates that location, we could see Burger Chef return to the spot. Honest-to-goodness flame-broiled burgers, they offered. I remember seeing the conveyor belt trundling beef paddies along a gantlet of gas jets that cooked the meat juuuust right, back in the 1970s.
Snitches to frequent later.
"Burger Chef" only exist, rent free, in your head now per Wikipedia.
"The structural form of a new McDonald's restaurant is shaping up at 11710 Rockville Pike in [North Bethesda]. Fixed it for ya.
I'm sticking with White Flint. The US Postal Service has long classified the area as Rockville and Kensington. Bethesda was never part of the conversation.
He says Flint, I say Flint. It's Flint. Ha!
What would James Coburn say?
Thank you for pointing that out, @10:00. It's why I wrote "If only" and "back in the 1970s." You missed out on a decent fast food place. It's a nostalgia thing.
White Flint no longer exist, it has been removed from the gazetteer.
It’s just 800 feet from the North Bethesda Metro station. The nearest point of the Kensington ZIP Code area is twice as far.
Bring back Rax!
