Here's a roundup of crimes reported across Bethesda on January 29:

Theft. 4500 block Middleton Lane (downtown Bethesda).

Theft. 8200 block Woodmont Avenue.

Theft. 5000 block Bradley Boulevard (Safeway/Bradley Shopping Center area).

Assault. Suburban Hospital (note: assaults that occur elsewhere are often reported to police when the victim seeks treatment at Suburban Hospital; the assaults do not necessarily occur at the hospital).

Theft. 5300 block Western Avenue (Mazza Gallerie area).

Vehicle burglary. Unit block of Wellesley Circle (Glen Echo).
