I agree, but it's a police station, not a luxury hotel. A more attractive design would have surely costed more taxpayer dollars.
That big blank wall shown in the fourth picture, faces the County parking garage. Not a big deal.
The facade facing Rugby Avenue is about 60-75% glass.
This was a curious design choice given that the whole area around it is being redeveloped for more residential.
It's literally a cinder block box with three flag poles.
The little gravel lot that I used to park in has grown up.
Happy the Council has given police a better HQ which they deserve. Good work!!!
