Peeping Tom reported at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda
Montgomery County police were called to Westfield Montgomery Mall to investigate a peeping Tom incident on Thursday, September 7, 2023. The peeper was reported at the mall at 1:20 PM.
Should be an interesting fact pattern should we ever hear particulars. Peeping Tomism usually requires a sort of residential venue: was this incident restroom or changing roon oriented? Seems there should be specific laws to address that that even in tort.
I didn't realize we are now the proud recipients of last ditch crime 'suppression,' like our sister city "lovely Silver Spring.' Sad on so many levels.

Did the MoCo police respond from their substation at the Mall or is that even staffed anymore?

Is that a 2nd degree offence?
If the creepy perp did that on Norfolk Ave & St Elmo, the new portable 360° surveillance cameras would have recorded said sex crime.
