Dunkin' Donuts has opened its newest Montgomery County location at the Giant gas station at 8500 Connecticut Avenue at Chevy Chase Lake. It is located by the future Purple Line bridge over Connecticut, and in front of the Crescent at Chevy Chase apartments. Operating hours for the store are 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. That will cover donuts and coffee for both rush hours, and potentially some sticky fingers aboard the Purple Line - whatever year it opens.

There are ENOUGH sweets and pastries shops in Bethesda Already. I'm more interested in when the "Capital Crescent Trail" will open back up again behind the air rights building

the "Capital Crescent Trail" cannot reopen until the Purple Line is Completed. Let’s remember that that Purple Line (and supposedly the Crescent Trail right beside it) is Under Construction right thru the Middle of a Country Club Golf Course !!
We’ll see how well Dunkin Donuts does there. Most of the people in Chevy Chase are pretty Nutrition Oriented so will they even go there ????
@ 2:32 PM - the Capital Crescent Trail east of is scheduled to open in Spring 2026, a year before the Purple Line is scheduled to open.
The railroad that preceded the trail and the Purple Line was there long before Columbia Country Club.
