Burglary on Wisconsin Ave., violent crime spike continues just over D.C. line in Friendship Heights + more - Bethesda crime update

Here's a roundup of crimes reported across Bethesda on November 21, according to crime data:

Burglary. 7500 block Wisconsin Avenue.

Theft. 4500 block East-West Highway.

Theft. 7200 block Wisconsin Avenue.

Drug arrest. Battery Lane at Wisconsin Avenue.

Theft. 5900 block Maiden Lane.

Theft. 10400 block Old Georgetown Road.

Keeping track of a spike in violent crime just over the D.C. line in Chevy Chase:

Following a robbery on Military Road on November 20, the following two violent crimes occurred on November 21:

Assault with deadly weapon. 5300 block Wisconsin Avenue N.W. at 7:50 AM.

Robbery. 5358 43rd Street N.W. at 3:00 PM.

An adult white female was approached by a black male, 40s, 5'8"-5'9", wearing dark athletic pants and a dark purple shirt. He assaulted her, and attempted to snatch her purseđź‘›.
