Nespresso, a boutique for those with refined taste in coffee and espresso, has opened at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. We've managed to beat Mall of America, which will get its own Nespresso in a few months.
Best known for its glossy ad campaigns starring brand ambassador George Clooney, Nespresso carries high-end coffee and espresso machines, accesssories, and - of course - coffees. The ubiquitous cups for such home machines are termed "pods" here, and feature colorful, upscale packaging.
Clooney himself was nowhere to be found on opening day yesterday, but they did have all the latest Nespresso machines. What's so special about Nespresso coffee? You can sample it when you visit the store to find out. But first, take a tour of the store via these exclusive photos from opening day.

Location? First floor? Second floor? Near Sears? Macy's? Nordstrom?
What used to be here?
Level 2, near the Apple Store.
I can't afford my life - I need a bail out. Will Dyer give me money?
Too bad they couldn't get Clooney or DeVito to stop by.
What failed shop used to be here?
Why was my comment about this being contrary to Dyer's consistent assessment of MoCo being moribund deleted? It appears Robert can't handle the truth!
