Pines of Rome to open today in new Bethesda location

Pines of Rome's move across town has gone like clockwork, and the venerable Bethesda favorite is now ready to open in its new location today, Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:30 AM. After 37 years in business, the Italian restaurant's new home is at 4918 Cordell Avenue. What would be better on a rainy day like this, than a lunch of white pizza at Pines of Rome?

Old Bethesda moves in to New Bethesda. I wish them well but I just don't know how long they will last here. Bethesda has moved on and they've never changed. It's impressive to note that somehow they managed to buy that property. Other store owners on Cordell that have the good fortune to also be their own landlords, are sitting on gold no matter what their businesses do.

BAd tYpoGraphy on their SiGN. Won’t go as a matter of principle, unless they fix this.

No mention that this reopening of this Italian restaurant is on Columbus Day, when Italians everywhere celebrate their oppression of Indigenous Peoples of the Americas?

I'll only go if they offer boxed DiCecco pasta like they did in the old location.
