On St. Elmo, a new restaurant and lounge at 4915 St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda, will open on Thursday, November 14, 2024. A grand opening celebration will extend from the 14th through Saturday the 16th. The menu has now been revealed; see the photos below for a preview. On St. Elmo is the latest tenant in this storied space, which has previously been home to TAPP'D Bethesda, Union Jack's, and most-famously, The Shark Club.

Those prices are Woodmont Grill level high. Quality better be as good! Curious about the late night/weekend atmosphere here as I remember Tapp’d was a nice vibe with pool tables and good beers.

I hope this new restaurant has great success! I truly wish them well! But I am not in the economic class of people they are hoping to attract, so unless someone takes me there for my birthday, I will never eat there. I hope they understand.

$40 for a half chicken. $23 for a burger. I AM in the economic class they're hoping to attract, and I'm not going for those prices either.
