Ala at 4948 Fairmont Avenue in Bethesda is taking a "summer break" from lunch hours. Until further notice, the Levantine restaurant will open for dinner at 4:00 PM. However, brunch hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM continue as usual on the weekends, and Sunday dinner hours have been added. It appears the summer break also applies to their original Washington, D.C. location, as well.

I hope this is just an outlier anomaly and not a reflection of chronic reduced lunchtime consumer traffic.
