Andy's Pizza opening at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda

Andy's Pizza
is speeding up its expansion within Montgomery County. The award-winning pizzeria that has had tremendous success in downtown Bethesda will soon open a second Bethesda location at Westfield Montgomery Mall. It will be in the Dining Terrace food court on Level 2, in between CAVA and Chipotle. A third MoCo Andy's Pizza shop will be opening soon at Kentlands Market Square in Gaithersburg.

Saw that the other night. That may be the biggest "billboard" around. The sign is huge. This is a departure for them going into a food court but they will crush it. Go to the the food court on a Friday night and look at the crowd. It's all families with kids and teenagers hanging out. And, the pizza is fast and good. Great addition.

Seems like Westfield Montgomery is soon gonna be a go-to, for many now!

Agree that they will crush it. But it’s not a departure for them, they’ve been in the Tyson’s food court for a long time already.

I don’t know, JAC, this is twice you and I have agreed on things recently, (Nan Xiang, too.) If I didn’t know better, I’d say this is a sign there is hope for our country.

2:06 - I know they were in Tyson's but didn't realize they were in their food court. Theirs is terrible. Bad location and hard to find.

The Tyson's location is not in the food court, its in the upscale Tysons II on the other side of the highway.

9:01 - Assumed Tyson's food court. Yeah, Tyson's II is a whole nuther thing. I bet the Montgomery Mall location does triple the biz the Tyson's II one does

Great! Now Westfield should pull in an popular anchor to take over the former space of sears. Either Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus.

They've been in tysons2 food court for years.

6:26 - Andy's Pizza isn't even years old yet so that can't be accurate.

B-C boy makes good! That place is a gold mine but you never see the dude anymore as it's been looking like a "black owned" business which "appears" better in today's climate, but you can't argue with the product. It's either 2 Vace slices for $5.30, 2 Andy's slices for $9.54 or 2 slices for $6.00+ at the pizza place across the street from where Chesapeake Bay Seafood House AYCA used to be. Andy's is thin and chewy and always has 3 non-meat slice options even just before they close, which brings up another point: I'm glad they were not hit during that robbery spree at late evening pizza establishments.
