Construction begins at Call Your Mother Deli in Bethesda

They heard us, or someone called their mother. But construction has finally begun at Call Your Mother Deli at 4828 St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda. I reported Wednesday that nothing had been done inside the space, which CYM had leased about nine months earlier. Less than 24 hours later, the door was open, a crew of workers was inside, and sounds of furious construction activity were audible. It's going to be more demolition than construction at first, as the interior of the former Hardwood Artisans showroom will have to be stripped away.
