Taco Bamba has posted coming-soon signage at its future storefront at 4905 Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda. This was Casa Oaxaca until very recently. Taco Bamba will be doing extensive construction and design work on the interior, so it will not open until sometime in the fall. If you can't wait until then, Taco Bamba has a location "just up the Pike" at Congressional Plaza in Rockville.

ANother taco place! more bread!
They are replacing a restaurant that served tacos with a new place that serves tacos.
I've eaten at two Taco Bambas. The one in Gaithersburg was just okay, but the Rockville location was outstanding. BTW, whatever became of the Bob's Chinese restaurant that was replacing Anthiny's?
5:31: Wouldn't it be more corn? Taco shells aren't bread.
Cinco, it has been many months since the promised spring opening. The last development I heard was another name change to Bob's Soup Dumplings & Bar.
Tat for Tat.
After several visit to the Taco Bambas in Rockville for their breakfast, I've come to the conclusion of eat first, then go. Speed of service is not a speciality here.
Woodmont Triangle is not saturated by taco places currently - just Gringos and Guapos. Taco Bamba is a nice addition!
