Nighttime utility work continues near Marriott site in Bethesda (Video+Photos)

Bethesda's nighttime economy may have tanked after the Montgomery County Council's disastrous Nighttime Economy Task Force, but the nighttime noise and utility work markets are still booming. A crew closed several lanes again around the intersection of Norfolk and Woodmont Avenues last night, by the Marriott headquarters construction site.

That sure looks like daytime utility work to me.

i live less than a block away...was not able to hear any construction news and i have not been inconvenienced by the work. glad to have improvements to our infrastructure. i have no idea why dyer will delete this, but i suspect because it is contrary to his narrative that he will just cite an imaginary comment policy.

Very noisy for folks in 7770 Norfolk.

Glad you couldn't hear it at your place though.

Do you live in the sewers?

It was only noisy at 7770 Norfolk for less than 20 minutes. To blame the council or anyone at the Transportation or Planning Department is irresponsible and petty of Mr. Dyer. I expect he will delete this comment too.

It's noisy at 7770 Norfolk far longer than 20 minute increments. Several days a month, the construction work continues throughout the night into early morning. As a resident of 7770 Norfolk, my sleep is often disrupted.
