Trader Joe's will open a new store in Friendship Heights at 5335 Wisconsin Avenue NW, just over the Maryland-D.C. line at Chevy Chase Pavilion, according to a liquor license application posted outside the former H&M space. The grocery store will be the new anchor tenant at the development. Trader Joe's appears to have adopted a location strategy more like CVS Pharmacy or Starbucks than Giant or Safeway. The Friendship Heights store will be the chain's fourth on Wisconsin Avenue, between the Glover Park location at 2101 Wisconsin Avenue NW, and 7900 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda.

We're all so excited to have a Trader Joe's in the neighborhood.
The best one is downtown Bethesda. You can most always get street parking in front or behind on Woodmont if I am remembering that street correctly one block off Wisc. It's also usually not crazy busy. The original Bethesda location is a nightmare as is Rockville with both parking and very busy TJ stores.
A great addition to the neighborhood, and some competition for Whole Foods! :-)
No complaints from this guy.
My guess is they’ll close the store at 6831 Wisconsin when this one opens.
If you build it, they will come.... Clear the shelves & hoard the popular items.
